Workshop Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions no longer apply. From September 2010 new Terms and Conditions came into force

By booking a place on this workshop you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. You will give at least 24 hours notice if you have to cancel your place on the workshop (excepting unforeseen circumstances such as illness or travel disruption, in which case please advise Census.ac.uk as early as possible). We reserve the right to charge a fee where adequate notice has not been given. This fee will not exceed £25 (GB Pounds).
2. Submitting the booking form does not guarantee a place on the workshop. You will receive a booking confirmation by email, which you should receive within five working days.
3. We reserve the right to refuse an application.
4. We will inform you by email at least 7 days in advance if we decide to cancel the workshop (excepting unforseen circumstances such as illness or travel dirsuption, in which case we will advise you as early as possible).
5. If you are studying or working in further or higher education you will register, via Census.ac.uk, for census data usage prior to the workshop.
6. Any usernames and passwords issued during the workshop will not be taken away, used or distributed afterwards.
7. All data access agreements agreed as part of the census registration process will apply during the workshop.
8. Data downloaded during a workshop is to be used for the duration of the workshop only and should not be copied, emailed or distributed in any way.
